Dr Sheetal Barhate is a highly experienced Gynaecologist and Fertility Specialist, currently working at Centre for Reproductive Medicine and Subfertility at St Bartholomew’s Hospital in London. With extensive experience in NHS fertility services, Dr Barhate is uniquely placed to guide you through your treatment options, whether you’re considering NHS or private care.
Dr Barhate specialises in the assessment and management of complex fertility problems and is dedicated to delivering compassionate, patient-centred care. As the lead for Ultrasonography, HyCoSy and 3D Scan Services at St Bartholomew’s Hospital, Dr Barhate plays a key role in delivering advanced fertility diagnostics. She offers a comprehensive range of fertility services including Fertility assessments, ovulation induction, intrauterine insemination (IUI), IVF, ICSI.
Dr Barhate is also the lead for sperm donation services at St Bartholomew’s Hospital and has particular expertise in supporting same-sex couples, individuals pursuing parenthood independently, as well as patients considering social egg freezing, egg donation ,or fertility preservation.
Known for her warm and compassionate approach, Dr Barhate works closely with each patient to develop a clear, personalised treatment plan. She is committed to providing dedicated, one-to-one support throughout every stage of the fertility journey, ensuring patients feel informed, supported, and confident in their care.
